Comfort. This cooling blanket felt so soft and luxurious, it was nearly impossible to get out of bed each day. The smooth surface lightly conforms to your body in a way that isn’t compressing or suffocating. It’s lightweight and comforting at the same time.
Temperature regulation. I am happy to report that I no longer woke up sweating after switching to this blanket. Even though I tend to overheat at night, I still like to wrap myself up in a blanket before bed. This blanket allowed me to continue my nightly ritual without making me sweat. If you’re a hot sleeper like me, I highly recommend investing in this.
Care. I followed the care instructions and spot-cleaned using water and a bit of pH-neutral silk detergent. When it came time to give it a full wash, I washed it on the delicate cycle. Air drying is required to maintain the integrity of the silk, though this was a bit tricky in my apartment, where space is limited. I ended up laying some towels on my living room floor and placing the blanket flat on top of them to dry, which worked pretty well. Plus, it dried in only a few hours compared to my lower-quality blanket, which has taken up to 24 hours to dry.

Temperature regulation. These sheets were highly effective when it came to keeping me cool. I actually felt relief when going to bed and waking up in the morning. These really do their job.
Mattress fit. This sheet set fit my queen bed perfectly, with zero slippage in the corners. The fitted sheet didn’t pop off during the night, unlike other, cheaper sheet sets I’ve used.
Material. While I enjoyed these sheets, I realized the ultra-smooth feel isn’t universally liked. My husband isn’t a hot sleeper, so he didn’t love the slickness of these sheets and missed our old cotton ones.
Care. After following the care instructions, I was pleased to see no pilling, shrinkage, or wrinkles. I removed them immediately from the dryer to keep them wrinkle-free and the quality was like new. It was kind of annoying that I couldn’t just leave them in the machine, but that was a small price to pay for these.

Material. These sheets felt immediately soft and almost worn right out of the box, thanks to their brushed microfiber material. I found (and loved) that they softened even more after just one wash.
Price. I was able to get a king-sized fitted and flat sheet, along with four pillowcases, for under $60. That kind of pricing is pretty unbeatable (especially for its quality). Bonus points if you have Prime because you'll get them in two days or less.
Design. These sheets have a crisp design with a classic embroidered border that makes them look way more expensive than they are. I also love that the pockets are extra deep, which makes changing your sheets so much easier.
Smell. After the first wash, they had a little bit of an off smell. It went away after a second wash but it was frustrating to have to wash my sheets twice to get them smelling fresh.
Sidenotes...
Vesta. The blanket came in an eco-friendly, woven basket that can be repurposed. Alia found this to be a thoughtful way to reduce waste and made for an enjoyable unboxing experience. She also appreciated the care instructions card for its whimsical imagery, plus the pack of stickers included.
Mellanni. These come in over 20 colors. Margo appreciated that they come in all sizes, too, from Twin and Twin XL to King and California King and Split King. There’s something for everyone here.
